Deep Relationships (You are Known & Loved)

Superficial relationships are mere surface relationships based on generalized perceptions of each other. However, deep relationships are based on a knowledge of who we are at our core and yet remain connected nonetheless.

A relationship with Jesus should be the strongest relationship we have, which means he should know us better than anyone. With that in mind, here are few reminders that he knows you at the deepest level and yet, he loves you still.

What God knows about me?

Genesis 22:12, He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God,

Exodus 3:7, Then the Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I Know their sufferings,

Exodus 33:17, And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”

1 Samuel 16:7, But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Jeremiah 17:10, “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”

Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Psalm 139:1-4, To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

Psalm 139:13, For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.

John 10:14, I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,

He knows Me at the Deepest Level and Yet,

He Loves Me Still…

Romans 8:38-39, For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Zephaniah 3:17, The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

1 Chronicles 16:34, Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

I hope this short note reminds you that you are loved and it encourages you to go even deeper in your relationship with Christ.

1 John 4:19, We love because he first loved us.
